Alan
        Franklin 1982

Alan Franklin, hittin' the chords and looking amused at our first
performance in Mell's loft. Alan has been a proficient musician as long as I have known
him. For a guy who lost a finger in a Detroit sweat shop punch press, he sure can pick
them strings. Alan was about to blossom, writing a slew of songs for the Layabouts, songs
with such staying power that we still perform them today. |
