Mel Rosas
Alvin's - 1984

Give the man a surface an' he'll make music. By 1984, Mel was not
only an accomplished drummer, but had expanded his repertoire to cover congas, timbales
and a plethora of other percussion instruments. He also plunged into Latin culture,
learning Spanish and soaking up a variety of cultural rhythms. Mel had by this time
written several songs "You're so Neurotic" and "B Movie", which
remained a favorite with Layabout aficionados to this very day. |
