Before the email date stamp existed, whenever I wrote a letter to someone in the scientific field, I would send a copy of said letter to myself at the same time. The letters were typically inverted so a stamp could be placed over the seal, discouraging tampering. Below is a small selection of letters with "Can Gravity be Induced?"
