Honduran Notebook
"...Honduras, on the other hand has been somewhat politically stable for quite a few years
despite U.S funding of Contra rebel bases just inside the border during the '80's.
According to various travel guides, the downside to Honduras is it's lack of decent food
and no real indigenous culture. On the other hand, it is reputed to have great beaches,
coral reefs, jungles and mountains. As if I needed any more incentive, it's only slightly
more expensive than Guatemala. OK, I'll bite. We're off!"
